How Did I Get Here?

I am an eternal spiritual person and I do not need a material body. The eternal spiritual world exists. The majority of eternal living beings live in the spiritual world. The minority of eternal living beings exist in the material universes trapped inside material bodies. All variety we see here in the material world exists in its perfect spiritual form in the spiritual world. Everything I experience within the material universe is a reflection or a material imitation of what is eternally real in the spiritual world.

How did i get here

Everything within the material world is made of temporary dead material energy. All symptoms of life are due to the eternal living beings residing within temporary bodies. Time is a controlling factor and decays and destroys everything. Whatever we experience in the material world cannot remain fresh, the law of satiation applies. We become satiated with what we see, taste, hear, feel, think; it all becomes stale and old. I become bored, frustrated, angry, envious, jealous, burned out, unfulfilled, and full of fear and despair.

Everything within the spiritual world is eternal life or spiritual energy. The living being is eternal and his form is made of spiritual energy. The trees, the sky, the land, the animals, the rivers, the homes and palaces, everything is made of spiritual energy. The influence of time is absent, everything is eternally new and fresh with no deterioration or death. I am never satiated, all my experiences become newer and fresher at each moment. My love, happiness, satisfaction, well- being, excitement, laughter, friendship, enjoyment, at every moment is at its fullest, yet every moment it increases!

Life within the spiritual world is unimaginable with newer and newer activities in perfect relationships.

I cannot trace back to the exact time I left the spiritual world, but by understanding it is my home, I can begin to reverse the consciousness which brought me to the material dimension. My memory of who I am, and my real home is intact, it is simply covered by the illusion that I AM THIS MATERIAL BODY. What does that mean?

I am a spiritual being and I will never, ever, be happy within the material world where everything ends in destruction and death. My amnesia of my original eternal existence is complete but can be completely cured by the process of Bhakti Yoga. This is the easiest and most powerful of all yoga. By its practice, I can return to my original position in the spiritual world.

In the material world, I am out of my element, like a fish out of water. A fish is thrown on land, and it will flap around until it dies. I am in the same situation. I have been thrown into the material world and placed into a material body. I flap around for a while and then the body dies, and I leave that body. I am placed in another body for another birth and thrown on the land again. I flap around until the body dies. Reincarnation happens again, and again and again. I need to re-enter the transcendental ocean of spiritual love and life.

In my current condition of illusion, I have forgotten my real home, my family, my friends, my purpose, my function, my essence.

I have rebelled against the all-attractive Supreme Lord, who loves me, is my best friend and well-wisher, and who desires that I return home.

Rebellious means that I made a choice to become master instead of servant, to be a controller, to oppose the Supreme Lord in his spiritual home of perfect harmony and love, where all serve Him in perfection.

As a result, His illusory energy commanded by Maya, covered me with false ego (I am this material body, the lord and master) and threw me out of the spiritual world into the material dimension. I entered the material dimension as a prisoner for rehabilitation, always controlled by the tricks of Maya, by time, by the modes of material nature, by the law of karma, by lust and enviousness, by the wheel of repeated birth and death.

If I conclude that I am spirit, that this world is not my home but a place of suffering, then my rehabilitation was successful. I can be paroled. The condition of my parole is to take up the process of Bhakti Yoga. When I achieve the goal of Bhakti Yoga, my incarceration in the material world is finished.
