“Living in a city can have a negative effect on your stress levels, immune system, and your ability to focus and pay attention. Scientific research has shown that being around nature and plants and flowers can greatly improve your mental and physical health, even in an urban setting,” says Jacintha Scheerder, head of Intelligence at Let it Grow. “With 70 per cent of the world’s population living in cities by 2050, finding new ways to create healthier and happier urban lives is increasingly important.”
Visit Let it Grow CS at the newly opened Amstelpassage at Amsterdam Central Station. Open daily from 11:00 – 19:00 until 30 November.
