In collaboration with the University of Rotterdam, the University of Wageningen and WHIM Architecture, Recycled Park is a concept floating structure made of hexagonal building blocks designed to trap plastic collecting at the mouth of the Nieuwe Maas before it reaches the North Sea. The structure's upper surface will double up as an accessible park for visitors to walk on, improving the ecological diversity in an area that would otherwise be deplete of nature.
