The German green technology company Visioverdis strives to create products that integrate plants into unused urban space. Their first product, GraviPlant, does just that by growing trees, plants and flowers on vertical surfaces such as building façades. Developed by biologist Alina Schick, the GraviPlant system includes an internal irrigation system and sensors which supply water and nutrients to the plant, allowing vegetation to grow sideways.
With the GraviPlant, new urban spaces are now available for greening. You can watch the videohere to see this technology in action.
