A Journal exploring the value of plants and flowers

Hong Kong Value Farm

The Value Farm is a new concept in the centre of Shenzhen that confronts issues of urban density, scarce agricultural resources and community engagement. By repurposing a previously obsolete industrial area, the Value Farm caters for 2,100m2 of farm land, complete with an irrigation and sprinkler system, and multi-depth soil plots to cultivate a variety of crops. The project is structured to run via co-produced, community participation methods promoted through a series of festivals, workshops and events.
