A Journal exploring the value of plants and flowers

Lyfe is a zero gravity plant pot which allows you to grow plants suspended in mid-air. Invented by a Swedish firm with art scientist Simon Morris, the planter consists of three parts: a geodesic silicon pot, an inner reservoir to prevent over-watering and an oak base that emits a magnetic field which repels the planter to make it levitate. The planter is designed to gently rotate, create a hypnotic visual effect which also allows for 360 degrees of sun exposure. It is specifically designed to benefit Air Plants which absorb nutrients through their leaves rather than their roots.

LYFE’s mission is to study the benefits of magnetism on plants and to turn house plants into mesmerising centrepieces for your home.
