Natuurtuin Slatuinen is a safe space for a wide variety of plants and wildlife to flourish in the city of Amsterdam. One of the reasons this park is so unique in its urban location is that there is almost no visible trace of the human presence that created it. The area has been used as a place for plants to grow dating back to the early 20th century. Now it is a breeding ground all year round that includes a forest area, ponds and grassland. You can watch the garden change with the season as the park is open all year round every Thursday.
