A Journal exploring the value of plants and flowers

The High Line

The New York High Line is a 2.33km public park and walkway built along a disused railway section in the Lower West Side of Manhattan. Originating in the Meatpacking District, it navigates through Chelsea and up towards West Side Yard on 34th Street. Many of the plants that originally grew on the High Line’s rail bed have been incorporated into the lush greenscape that exists today. The park is maintained by Friends of High Line, who curate a lively public programme with public art, installations and exhibitions hosted throughout the year.
