A Journal exploring the value of plants and flowers

Maggie’s Centres

Maggie’s Centres provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families,  in a soothing environment all across the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. The centres stand out for their unique architectural structures that incorporate natural elements, providing a calming environment to process the difficult stages of the disease. The centres are an initiative of landscape designer Maggie Keswick Jencks, who developed the idea for the centres whilst dealing with the illness herself.
