A Journal exploring the value of plants and flowers

Osaka Namba Parks

A natural intervention to replace the Osaka Stadium, Osaka Namba Parks is a large-scale office and commercial complex designed to resemble a mountaintop alongside a canyon, featuring a mall, entertainment spots, restaurants, and amphitheatre. Gradually ascending eight levels, its crowning feature is its rooftop garden, inviting pedestrians to pass through from the adjoining streets. With over 19 million inhabitants, the Osaka Prefecture is amongst the largest in the world making the Namba Parks a much-needed urban oasis, redefining the cityscape in favour of a more ecologically diverse urban environment.
